  • Pre-Cleaning Inspection. During this step, we evaluate the condition of the upholstery piece, locating areas that need special attention (soiled areas, pet, ink, makeup stains)

  • Applying Spot treatment. Pretreatment of upholstery fabric with special cleaning solutions, will break up heavy stains and soils, and release them from material’s fiber. At this point, stains will be much easier to pick up with low moisture cleaning. In some cases, spot cleaning, pet odor, and pet stain removal may be necessary.

  • Stain work. Scrub heavy soiled parts of furniture using a horsehair brush to break up stubborn substances and force them to release from fibers.

  • Steam cleaning. After scrubbing, fabric is cleaned and dried with low moisture water extraction tool, that removes remaining spots and soils, and most of the moisture.

  • Post-Cleaning Inspection of all areas. An optional protective coat can be applied to the furniture to keep it safe from future soils.

Usually, it takes anywhere between 3-5 hours for upholstery to completely dry, depending on the aforementioned variables. Using fans in any rooms cleaned and turning your air conditioning or heating system on, depending on the time of year, can help accelerate drying time.
